The Marshall Police Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of:
Police Officer
The City of Marshall is looking for certified Police Officers. If you have completed an academy and are currently licensed with the State of Missouri, we are looking to hire. Certified Officers will receive a $10,000.00 signing incentive upon completion of the field training program.
The Marshall Police Officers start at over $46,000.00. Within a year, that salary can exceed $49,000.00. The City of Marshall has a single and family health plan, dental, vision, and life insurance, with Lagers for retirement. Officers work a 12-hour shift, allowing for every other weekend off. The City of Marshall covers uniforms and gear. The city also covers most training costs and has in-house training available.
The Department handles approximately 50 calls a day, with average of 4 incident reports and officers total daily traffic stops are around 5.
